An Usher's duties are to greet, seat, and accommodate the overall comfort of the worshippers in the house of the Lord with the purpose of minimizing distractions.  When prayer and scripture are being offered, it is expected that the sanctuary during this time.  If an emergency should arrive, the ushers have been trained to handle this situation.  An usher should also be prepared to render service to the pastor.everyone respect this part of the service.  No one should be allowed to walk in the sanctuary during this time.  If an emergency should arrive, the ushers have been trained to handle this situation.  An usher should also be prepared to render service to the pastor.
